    Frankfurt/Main, 02. Juli 2016 – Das Who-iw-who des Hotelmarketing trifft sich am 12. Juli im Kempinski Hotel in Gravenbruch bei Frankfurt am Main. Die HSMAI-Region Europa und der Travel Industry Club haben u.a. Branchengrößen wie Remy Merckx (VP Marketing der Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group), Stefan Tweraser (CEO von SnapShot), Joanna Schröder (VP Revenue Manager bei Steigenberger) und Michael Simon (GM Distribution EMEA bei Marriott) gewinnen können.

    CPI Hotels Expands into European Market with Recent Acquisition of Mamaison Hotels & Residences

      CPI Hotels is expanding its activities in the Czech Republic and has also entered into the European market. The portfolio of one of the largest Czech hotel groups has, as of 1 July 2014, grown by the addition of Mamaison Hotels & Residences operating in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Russia. The current 18 hotels of the Buddha-Bar Hotels & Resorts, Clarion Hotels, Fortuna Hotels, Spa & Kur Hotels and Ubytovny.cz brands will now be extended by Mamaison hotels in Prague and Ostrava – CPI Hotels becomes a new operator of Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague, Mamaison Residence Belgicka Prague and Mamaison Business & Conference Hotel Imperial Ostrava. The hotel group will also receive an additional 7 hotels located in Bratislava, Warsaw, Budapest and Moscow under the management contract.

Juni 2014) FRHI Hotels & Resorts (FRHI), die Muttergesellschaft der Raffles, Fairmont und Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts hat Andrew Farrow zum neuen Director Marketing, Europe mit Sitz in Zürich ernannt. In seiner neuen Rolle ist A. Farrow für Marketing-Kampagnen und alle Aktivitäten rund um das Marketing der drei Hotelmarken im europäischen Markt verantwortlich.

        EU-Plan wird teuer: Datenschutzbeauftragte kosten Gastronomie-Unternehmen zuviel – Hotrec appelliert an Europäisches Parlament

          (Brüssel, 11. März 2014) Das Gastgewerbe in Europa lehnt die Verpflichtung auch kleinerer und mittlerer Unternehmen zur Bestellung betrieblicher Datenschutzbeauftragter ab, die morgen im Europäischen Parlament zur Abstimmung steht. Der europäische Gastro-Dachverband Hotrec ruft die Institutionen der Europäischen Union vielmehr dazu auf, zum ursprünglichen Entwurf der Kommission zurückzukehren, der eine Bestellung erst ab 250 Angestellten vorsieht, sofern der Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt des Unternehmens nicht in der Datenverarbeitung liegt.

          Hotelmarkt Flughafen Frankfurt: Klarer Revpar-Gewinner – Studie attestiert „bedeutendes Wachstumspotential“

            (Frankfurt/Main, 10. März 2014) Der Bau neuer Hotels an den Flughäfen in Frankfurt/Main, Amsterdam und Paris erlebt einen Wachstumsschub, während in London Heathrow die langwierige Entscheidung über eine dritte Landebahn zum Stillstand bei der Entwicklung weiterer Hotels geführt hat. Dies sind Erkenntnisse einer gemeinsamen Studie von Christie + Co und STR Global. Untersuchungsgegenstand war die Hotellerie im Umfeld der fünf führenden europäischen Flughäfen London Heathrow (LHR), Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Madrid (MAD) und Frankfurt (FRA).

            Hotel transactions reach post downturn peak as Middle Eastern investors step up interest

              London – March 3rd, 2014 – European hotel transaction volume in 2013 reached a new peak since the onset of the global financial crisis, signalling a comeback of the hotel real estate market. HVS reports that total transaction volume across Europe reached €7.7 billion in 2013, a 39% increase on the €5.6 billion recorded in 2012. The first quarter of 2013 accounted for more than half of the year’s total transaction volume, totalling €4.2 billion.
